Our vision

An Aotearoa where LGBTQIA+ people of colour, particularly South Asians, can be themselves, free of fear and stigma, and explore their potential while challenging discrimination against them.

We're motivated by...

  • The multiple identities of LGBTQIA+ people of colour, particularly South Asians, and the need to challenge stereotypical beliefs about our communities and us
  • A profound sense of learning, sharing, and changing for the better
  • Critical, innovative and inclusive thinking
  • A desire to challenge discrimination and marginalisation, including those rooted in colonisation
